The most powerful way I know to manage stress is to change our perceptions. This leads us to become aware of (and make use of) more possibilities in our present situation. We acquire a more positive emotional mood, opening our horizon of opportunities and choice of actions. For instance, when we are afraid there is a whole range of actions we cannot take; when we feel secure, those actions are available to us—we have more possibilities open to us. When we see our stressful circumstances as a chance to change and learn about transformation and manifestation, we gain new purpose, have clearer vision, expanded creativity and more strength.
